Best Practice Network continues to grow, with the exciting launch into New Zealand on the 5th of November, the first event – Business Leaders’ Dinner – “The Voice of Your Customer”, hosted by Rick Terpstra, National Opex Manager for CSR.
Rick has been the leader for the CSR Way program which has driven their Improvement Strategies for 12 years across 40 sites. The hallmark of this program is that it has been internally developed, focused on customer needs, supported by the senior executive team and has engaged the frontline people.
The momentum in New Zealand continued to build, with a site visit and gemba walk taking place on the 7th of November, at the new CSR Viridian plant. A number of major NZ manufacturers participated and studied the leading technology of glass manufacturing supported by operational excellence practices. A very useful opportunity for participants to get to know each other, to network and share experiences.
There are many Trans Tasman companies and it is valuable to have our New Zealand counterparts involved.
