Verton is a Brisbane based start-up and produces the world’s first remote control orientation system to managed suspended loads. We currently outsource manufacturing to local supplier in Brisbane and bring specialised components from overseas.
We are looking to receive feedback from the Best Practice Network on the following 3 questions, as we compete a full and detailed review of international supplier management processes.
- With overseas suppliers, what are the best processes to ensure that quality and delivery schedules are maintained?
- What is the best strategy to lock in the best pricing for long term supply on minimal quantities at the start but on a growing manufacture base?
- What strategy and payment terms are best practice?
