Safety Management Administration System – October 2020

The Winson Group is the holding company of Signet and insignia. Signet is one of Australia’s leading manufacturers and distributors of packaging materials, safety supplies and industrial marking products. insignia is a leader in labelling and coding solutions, as well as thermal printing, scanning and mobility products.

We are seeking feedback and guidance from Best Practice Network on a suitable Safety Management Administration system to replace our current system.

Ideally this system would need to cover the following:

  • Contractor management, preventative maintenance, Incident reporting/investigation, Hazard reporting/Actions
  • Risk Assessments – Plant and Task, EOM reporting
  • Dashboard functionality
  • Safety Observations
  • Registers including training and flexible configuration

Winson Group has two manufacturing sites in Brisbane and one in Melbourne with approximately 300 pieces of fixed plant and general equipment and 20 pieces of mobile plant (light to medium industry equipment). We have approximately 270 staff overall, which includes staff at warehouses across, Queensland, Victoria, New South Wales & Western Australia. We would require a Safety Management system, that can support 200 users.
