Our heartfelt congratulations go to Jim Glover, Group Manager – Continuous Improvement at Visy Group, who was the recipient of the “Victorian Best Practice Networker of the Year Award”.
The award recognises Jim’s countless contributions to the manufacturing industry over many years, and for his tremendous efforts in networking and promoting excellence within the Victorian business community.
Jim Glover was presented with his award by Neil Hooke, at the first Victorian Business Leaders’ Dinner for the year, held in Melbourne on Wednesday 3 March 2021. We were thrilled to be able to run our first face to face event in nearly 12 months, featuring outstanding presenter Rochelle Avinu, Danaher Business Leader, from Leica Biosystems. Rochelle lead a robust discussion on the evenings topic “Leadership Diversity & Excellence at Leica” and shared her experiences as a passionate advocate for diversity.
The dinner also featured the introduction of Andrew Gill as the new Victorian Facilitator of the Best Practice Network taking over from Neil who has successfully run the network since 2017.
