Dear Members,
Wilmar Sugar Australia are currently looking to improve the way in which road tankers are filled with liquid sugar at our load-out terminal, with a view to:
- Eliminate trip hazards presented by flexible hoses
- Provide a ‘weightless’ connection experience for the operator
- Safeguard against trucks driving away whilst still connected
- Maintain food hygiene requirements
Road tankers are bottom filled at a rate of approximately 50 m3/hr.
We would welcome any guidance from organisations within Best Practice Network that have successfully implemented any bulk liquid load-out equipment or facilities to address any of the above criteria.
We would appreciate feedback on:
- Equipment options and how well they have performed
- Designers and suppliers
We look forward to receiving your feedback, guidance and comments and would welcome the opportunity to discuss further.
If you can help, please email: [email protected]
Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.
