Dear Members,
Jardan is an Australian designed and made furniture manufacturing company based in Scoresby Victoria. Our products are created using a combination of high-tech machinery and skilled craftsmanship; expressing contemporary ideas through quality materials.
Jardan have state of the art timber CNC machines ranging from 3 axis to 13 axis. We are interested in hearing from any businesses within the Best Practice Network that have used/implemented CAM software outside the proprietary software supplied by the manufacturer (example Alpha CAM).
Key Considerations:
- 3 axis and 5 axis CNC machines are manufactured from the same supplier (Manufacturer: Homag)
- 13 axis CNC is a 6 axis dual milling head machine with a lathe function (Manufacturer: Balestrini)
- Software compatibility across all CNC machines
- Cost of software and implementation
- Complexity of implementation
- Software ease of use
We are also interested in hearing from any companies that utilize 3D scanning tools that are able to import useable models into 3D CAD software such as Autodesk Inventor and 3DS Max. Our aim is to shorten development time and have more accurate 3D rendered models.
We would like to know:
- Pricing: Initial Cost
- Model/ file output useability
- Software Compatibility
- Texture and surface compatibility

Thank you in advance.
