Best Practice Network Member Request: Oasis Software program to manage warehouse parts replenishment orders

Dear Members,

Oasis Engineering Ltd, member of the Elaflex Group manufacturers high pressure valves and station equipment for the compressed natural gas (CNG) industry and exports product globally.

Oasis Engineering is seeking an independent software program to manage our warehouse parts replenishment orders. Ideally, we’re looking for something that’s budget-friendly. We assemble products based on customer orders, from picking items from the warehouse, assembling them, and shipping them out accordingly. We have over 1,000 SKU’s with a replenishment lead time of 3 days to 3 months.

Our ERP system (Ostendo) contains all our inventory information but doesn’t suggest reorder quantities based on usage. We currently rely on Kanban cards, but managing this process manually is time-consuming and cumbersome due to the large number of parts.

What Oasis are looking for:

  • A software package solution that can analyse stock transactions for each part—such as stock ins, stock outs, and replenishment lead times—and determine a reorder level for each item in our warehouse.
  • Furthermore, when the reorder level is reached, the system should suggest a reorder quantity based on the lead time.

We would greatly value input from other businesses within the Best Practice Network who can provide recommendations and insights on the software programs they use to manage warehouse parts replenishment orders. We’re eager to hear about their experiences and any feedback they can share.

If you can assist, please contact me via email.

Thank you in advance.
