Dear Members,
Tidd Ross Todd is a large New Zealand owned family business built on a rich history of innovation. We operate across multiple sites in NZ and Australia with about 250 staff.
We manufacture multi-axle specialist trailers and an innovative all terrain crane – the Tidd 28. Many of our manufactured cranes and trailers are sold into Australia. Our business also covers distribution of truck and trailer parts, crane sales and servicing, truck and trailer servicing and repairs.
We are in the process of replacing our ERP system. The leading candidate is Pronto Xi. The ERP will be used across the whole business including parts sales, large equipment sales, servicing client vehicles, manufacturing of mainly bespoke designs, inventory and warehousing and MRP, design including BOM’s and revision control as well as HR and the normal finance and business functions.
We are evaluating Pronto’s CRM vs our current SalesForce.
We are also looking to implement CADLink as the interface between Pronto and SolidWorks – capturing BOM’s, parts list creations etc.
We are interested to hear from companies within the Network, that would be willing to share their experiences (both good and bad):
– If you are using Pronto Xi, we’d appreciate being able to have a conversation with you.
We’d particularly be interested in any specific comments related to:
- Asset management and preventative maintenance
- Rework register capability
- Manufacturing scheduling
- Labour capture and leave management
- If the Pronto CRM module meets your needs?
If you use CADLink, and particularly if you are using it as the interface between Pronto and Solidworks, we’d also appreciate being able to have a chat.
We’d specifically be interested in any limitations you may have found.
Please contact me via email [email protected] or by phone, if you are happy to share your experiences. We would be very grateful to learn from you.
Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks and regards,
Lawrence Baker
