Member Request: Fisher & Paykel Healthcare “Statistical Process Control Activity”

Dear Members,

Fisher & Paykel Healthcare are a leading designer, manufacturer and marketer of products and systems for use in acute and chronic respiratory care, surgery and the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea. Driven by a strong sense of purpose, they are working to improve patient care and outcomes through inspired and world-leading healthcare solutions. The needs of their customers and their patients drive everything they do. They call this commitment Care by Design.

Their medical devices and technologies help clinicians deliver the best possible patient care. They enable patients to transition into less-acute care settings, recover more quickly and avoid more serious conditions. Because of their products and therapies, many patients can be treated in the comfort of their own homes instead of in the hospital. Not only does this make life better for the patient, it reduces costs for the world’s healthcare systems.

We would appreciate feedback on:

  • Companies who have a mature Statistical Process Control (SPC) activity within their own organistation

We would like to have a discussion (and maybe a site visit) with companies that are using SPC tools in their operation.  These tools may be software based or manually generated.

We’d be interested in how to use SPC to proactively drive improvements when processes are drifting and the reaction processes that accompany individual SPC activities.

We’d also appreciate the opportunity to have a chat about how you went about developing the understanding of SPC in your operation.

If you can help, please email: [email protected]

Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.
