Priestley’s Gourmet Delights, is a privately-owned family business with a passion for food manufacturing since 1996. We have been guided by our principles in sourcing the best ingredients to meet our exceptional quality standards and always asking ‘what’s next?’ to delight our consumers with every mouthful of dessert and savoury treat.
Now we are looking to ensure that our employee experience is better than best practice. To do this, we are seeking feedback on two important topics related to onboarding and team member integration.
Specifically, we are seeking input on innovative onboarding programs that are appropriate for both white and blue-collar workers, as well as successful strategies for welcoming new team members and embedding them into the workforce.
As we all know, effective onboarding is critical to ensuring that new hires feel welcomed, informed, and supported as they begin their roles within our organizations. However, we also recognise that the needs and experiences of white and blue-collar workers may differ, and that effective onboarding programs must be tailored to meet the unique needs of each group.
With that in mind, we are seeking insights and recommendations from organisations within Best Practice Network, for innovative onboarding programs that have proven successful in your organisations.
We are particularly interested in:
- What elements or activities have you found to be particularly effective in engaging new hires and facilitating their transition into the organization
- What approaches have you found to be most successful in addressing the needs of both white and blue-collar workers?
We are also interested in hearing about successful strategies for welcoming new team members and embedding them into the workforce.
- What traditions or practices have you found to be particularly effective in fostering a sense of belonging and connection among team members
- How have you worked to ensure that new hires feel valued and supported as they navigate their roles within the organization?
