Sugar Australia is the nation’s trusted partner in sugar and ingredient solutions enabling their customers to make great products for every home. Sugar Australia is seeking a business to assess and, if necessary, repair four fabric silos located at their Yarraville site in Victoria. Certain sections of these silos show visible signs of stitching coming loose, with one silo also having a small tear. (Pictures provided below)
Key Considerations
- The capacity of these silos is 20T but we currently fill them up to 18T of white sugar(Caster/Graded).
- As these silos are quite aged we only have limited information on them.
- One of the silos was provided by Nu-Con, which are now part of GEA group (they do not do repairs on silos anymore).
We would greatly appreciate hearing from someone within Best Practice Network who has encountered similar needs to ours. It would be ideal if they could connect us with a technician capable of performing an assessment and handling the necessary repairs for this job.
